Privacy Notice

Niki collects waitlist details, not your relationship story.

Who operates Niki

Niki is operated by Amanda Yin.

What the waitlist collects

The waitlist form requires:

  • Email address.
  • Confirmation that you are 18 or older.
  • A structured primary-need choice.
  • Consent to receive Niki waitlist updates.
  • Acceptance of this notice.

You may optionally provide:

  • A broad current relationship context.
  • The feature you most want.
  • A broad pricing preference.
  • Whether you are open to a research interview.

The form also records broad acquisition information when present: UTM source, medium, campaign, content, landing variant, whether the walkthrough was completed, and the referring host.

What the waitlist does not collect

The waitlist form does not ask for or store real relationship stories, screenshots, partner names, message content, voice notes, exact age, diagnosis, trauma history, gender, or sexual orientation. The walkthrough’s follow-up and sample memories are prewritten fixtures. Your selected impact and next move stay in component state; the clarity note is derived locally and clears when you refresh.

Completing the walkthrough can set a simple in-browser completion flag. If you later submit the waitlist form, that yes-or-no completion signal may be included with the waitlist record; the selected impact, sample memories, next move, and clarity note are not included.

Why the information is used

The information is used to operate the waitlist, understand broad interest in the problem and proposed features, invite people who opted in to research, measure acquisition sources, and guide product development. Waitlist data is not used to diagnose anyone, build an advertising profile, or train a model.

Service providers

Cloudflare
Hosts the static site and API Functions and provides Turnstile bot protection for the waitlist. The walkthrough runs in the browser and does not send walkthrough choices or clarity-note text to Cloudflare. When you submit the waitlist, Cloudflare may process the form request, Turnstile token, and originating IP before the validated waitlist record is sent to Supabase.
Supabase
Stores the waitlist record in Postgres. The production database is configured in Supabase’s Canada Central region. Browser visitors have no direct table access. That database-region choice does not mean every Cloudflare or internet-routing operation occurs only in Canada.
Resend
Resend processes the email address only when Niki sends a waitlist confirmation email.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled. When enabled, it provides aggregate page and performance measurement without advertising cookies.

PostHog and other behavioral analytics are not enabled.

Walkthrough choices and clarity-note content are not sent to analytics or session replay.

The unsubscribe page carries no behavioral analytics.

Retention and control

Waitlist records are kept for no longer than 12 months after the initial signup or most recent explicit rejoin, then deleted. A record may be deleted sooner if the validation program ends or after a verified deletion request. Unsubscribing changes the record to unsubscribed and stops waitlist email; it does not prevent an earlier deletion request.

The list is reviewed monthly so records past the 12-month limit can be removed. Niki uses a documented manual review rather than an automatic deletion job.

Niki does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or train models on waitlist data.

Unsubscribe or request deletion

Every Niki confirmation email includes an opaque unsubscribe link. The link opens a confirmation page and does not unsubscribe on visit.

To request access or deletion, email [email protected]. Do not send a relationship story with the request.
