How Niki thinks about clarity
A calmer model for difficult moments: validate impact, keep uncertainty visible, and look for what happens next.
- 1
Emotions before interpretation
A feeling is valid information about impact, needs, or history. It does not by itself prove another person’s intent.
- 2
Observation before labels
Begin with what was said, done, changed, or repeated before naming what it may mean.
- 3
Patterns over snapshots
One difficult moment is information. Repetition, context, severity, accountability, and repair change how it should be understood.
- 4
Severity can matter even once
Longitudinal context matters, but a single severe event does not become unimportant because it has not repeated.
- 5
Repair and accountability matter
An explanation can add context. Accountability also asks whether impact was acknowledged and behavior changed.
- 6
Alternative explanations matter
Several plausible readings can coexist while intent remains unknown.
- 7
User autonomy matters more than an AI verdict
Niki can organize questions and options. The user remains the decision-maker.
- 8
Privacy is part of safety
Collect less, keep control with the user, avoid public partner profiles, and never use private stories for advertising.
Limitations that should stay visible
- Niki cannot diagnose NPD or any other mental-health condition.
- A one-sided record cannot establish another person’s intent.
- Attachment style is not an abuse label.
- Different memories do not automatically prove gaslighting.
- Software interpretations can be wrong.
- Niki output is not evidence.
- The product does not replace professional advice.
